Exploring RAKxa: The Closest and Newest Wellness Retreat from Bangkok<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Bang Kachao in Samtprakan province, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

a 30 minutes\u2019 drive from the city of Bangkok has this newly established Wellness & Medical Retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bang Kachao is about 4km from Bangkok if you draw a straight line from Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located on the sandbar on the Chao Phraya River, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the sandbar is called \u201cgreen lung\u201d<\/span> as its shape and richness in green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is accessible by a canal boat from Klongtoey and Bangna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I once went there on my bicycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since few years ago, a bridge was constructed and now easily accessible by car as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RAKxa is now still under development but the facility is built on a huge 200 Rai (320,000sqm) land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Retreat is managed as a joint project by MINOR Group <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that owns Anantara Hotel and Bamrungrad Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing you get the minute you arrived at RAKxa is a Health and Wellness Consultation<\/span> by nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will receive \u201cWellness and Health Questionnaire<\/span>\u201d before your visit to the facility <\/p>\n\n\n\n

which you are asked to fill in the current status of your health in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it is cooperating with Bamrungrad Hospital, there is Vitallife in the Retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Vitallife is a facility with doctors stationed 24\/7, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

they will give you approach from various angle such as Anti-aging, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immune medicine, Preventive medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the Questionnaire that I\u2019ve mentioned earlier, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

we discuss on my current mental and physical issues that I may have and if any, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

will talk on medical approach so as to solve the issue in details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is like deciding the treatment policy in a way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

my hubby had his walking posture filmed to check the usage of our total body and feet angles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can understand our body usage and usage habit from the measurement <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and had advise on actual corrective solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an eye opener for me to know myself objectively and received advice for method to correct <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and improve from specialists was a good learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can also attend classes during our stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve attended fascia release class and stretching class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very fruitful gain attending the classes <\/p>\n\n\n\n

as they will educate us with the muscle structure and function logically <\/p>\n\n\n\n

so that we understand what we are doing to which muscle.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RAKxa: A Look at its Comprehensive Facilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

RAKxa has various facilities here and there on a huge 200 Rai (320,000sqm) land space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is still under development but I think there probably will be hospital <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and rehabilitation facility coming in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 4 big areas in the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctors are stationed around the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility is specialized facility where you will receive medical based treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve received a Liver Detox IV and my hubby received an Oxygen Therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility designated to treatments such as Hydro Therapy and massage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changing room and Hydro Therapy is separated by male and female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hydro Therapy Area is not a natural onsen spring <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but it is good enough as jet-bath and neck-bath both are with hot water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also dry-sauna and wet-sauna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite way of enjoying this facility is to first get myself nice <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and warm then stand in the Amazon Rain forest mode <\/p>\n\n\n\n

in the Rain Shower booth to soak myself head to toe with squall like cold shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The massage you get after having the muscles relaxed with Hydro Therapy was out of this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is where I had my muscle strength measured <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and also have attended stretch class as well as fascia release class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the premise of the facility is so spacious as the area is so huge, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can travel by cart inside of the premise however; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would recommend you to do that on bicycle <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that they have provided in your room for you to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was always on the bicycle when I wanted to travel in the premise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
