Let\u2019s talk about Another KELLY\u2019s<\/span><\/span> <\/a>that is located between Sukhumvit Soi41 and 43.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a narrow soi running behind TOPS Supermarket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here on this soi, you can find lots of restaurants and bars but this one is my favorite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was planning to dine at Lao Ti Fang where they serve delicious GYOZA Dumplings <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but unfortunately the Chinese restaurant was packed with group diners when I took a look inside <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and decided not to go in but I found a restaurant nearby whose entrance was very inviting <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and thought I should give a try and went in to find out that I\u2019ve hit a Jack Pot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrance has a very fashionable looks, and the ground floor has a bar space,  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the upper floor is with table seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The table seats can be set up for 2 persons or up to about 10 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little boys and girls to adults are all enjoying their foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ground floor is mainly occupied by those came alone or came with 2 persons <\/p>\n\n\n\n

who like to quietly enjoy their foods <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and alcoholic beverages but the 1st<\/sup> floor has livelier atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I came there the first time by chance, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did not know what king of restaurant it was and asked the staff,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without feeling much of a shame, \u201cwhat kind of restaurants is this place?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is that stylish restaurant that one would not expect a Japanese skewed food restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you talk about a \u201cYAKITORI\u201d restaurant in Japan, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is often a kind of budget type food huts where a woman would hesitate to sit there alone.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this is more of a Bar or Caf\u00e9 type of place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was told by the staff that the place is mainly specialized in YAKITORI <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and KUSHIAGE skewed and fried pork, I was surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The yakitori is skewed in the restaurant kitchen piece by piece <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and carefully Bar-B-Que grill them according to the ingredients.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not so found of the tare-sauce therefore I had all my skews salted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To tell you the secret that many restaurants don\u2019t disclose is that, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

when they serve their dishes with simple seasoning of salt, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

we will almost immediately notice the quality of the ingredient; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

many places do not serve their dishes just with a salt seasoning.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here in Thailand, chicken meats are very good <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I encourage you to have them just with salt seasoning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was grilled just right and they were all excitingly delicious. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve enjoyed my dishes very much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fried foods are also cooked in the way that brings out the taste of the ingredients <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and prepared with well controlled frying time. They tasted great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t think that even in Japan, there are probably just a handful of restaurants <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that can serve their dishes in this level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the restaurant\u2019s specialty is yakitori and age-mono fried foods, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

they are of course very good but, other dishes outside of them are also very good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have their OSUSUME (Chef\u2019s recommend special menu or plat du jour) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

depending on what is available in the market on the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I dropped by, it was \u201csmoked assortments\u201d and \u201cNUKAZUKE pickles\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price for 2 person with no consumption of alcohol, it was 1,700 baht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alcoholic drinks that they serve are, beer, shochu, wine, and whiskey.
They are served by glass or by bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
