Spa, Phuket \" class=\"wp-image-5393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/03_Map_Resort-1024x724-1.webp 1024w, https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/03_Map_Resort-1024x724-1-300x212.webp 300w, https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/03_Map_Resort-1024x724-1-768x543.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Resort Map<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Both my hubby and I had a very good experience and impression on <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Naka Island and dreamed of staying there again but haven\u2019t had a chance <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and time to do so after they Re-branded the place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We were looking forward to and were excited to stay at <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Naka Island this time but unfortunately, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>our 3 nights\u2019 stay with them turned out to be <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"swl-marker mark_blue\"><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-xl\">\u201cthe worst travel experience ever\u201d<\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>among our stay at many places that we\u2019ve been so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>And I myself as an entrepreneur couldn\u2019t help myself from thinking <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>why such a wonderful resort became a place as such that <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we\u2019ve recently experienced ourselves.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detailed Review of the Beachfront Pool Villas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beach Front Pool Villa (Villa 68)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve reserved Beach Front Pool Villa for our stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The room is the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> category among The Naka Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The top category is 2 bedrooms Royal Horizon <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the villa we\u2019ve stayed in on this trip was the top <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>category among the 1 bedroom category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>My motto is to stay in the best category room available at the time <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of the stay when we travel and stay somewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because I often stay in the room and relax, the panoramic view from the room <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the environment and ambience inside of the room is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>So, as my motto, we\u2019ve reserved the Beach Front Pool Villa on this trip <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and opened the door of the Villa dreaming of reading my favorite books <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and relax listening to the sound of the waves rushing to the shore on the Beach Front.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Villa 68 (Beach Front Pool Villa) - The Naka Island, Phuket (March 2022)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FKThRrTva7k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The rooms that were available were 2 Tropical Pool Villas <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and a Villa where a piece of the ocean could be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, there was 1 Beach Front Pool Villa that was available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We were first told that there was no more Beach Front Pool available <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>but when we complained in a bit stronger manner <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and she told us that there is 1 room which is still available.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw all the available rooms and decided to stay at the Beach Front <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>as it was the best one out of all available ones and checked in at Villa 65. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was 2 hours after our check-in at the hotel front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this Villa 65 also had its Beach Front under construction <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>but we thought it was <span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-xl\"><span class=\"swl-marker mark_orange\">\u201csomewhat better\u201d<\/span><\/span> than no beach view, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we\u2019ve decided to stay here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"828\" height=\"621\" src=\"https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/08_7033330711694_8252802993090214648_n.webp\" alt=\"The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort &amp; Spa, Phuket \" class=\"wp-image-5408\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/17_401985842_8266845945399305510_n.webp 828w, https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/17_401985842_8266845945399305510_n-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/17_401985842_8266845945399305510_n-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Our flight back to Bangkok was at 16:05 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and we were originally planning to checkout at 13:00, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we just wanted to get out of the resort as soon as we can, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we\u2019ve finished our payment in the morning, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>had our luggage pick-up at 11:40, and left The Naka Island at 12:00 already.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We tried to change our flight to earlier time <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>but as all the earlier flights were fully booked, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it was not possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This was our first time that we felt the urge to leave the resort as soon as we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On us leaving The Naka Island, Director of Sales &amp; Marketing Ms. T expressed her apology <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for the series of problems that we\u2019ve had on our stay this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>She, Ms. T, told us that \u201cthese things never happened\u201d however, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>if and when maintenance was regularly done with checks in between, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am sure these things have never had happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>And it was very obvious that condition of the Villas were not being checked regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was probably the first guest that gave them the claim on the status of their asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analyzing Resort Facilities and Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resort Appearance and Cleanliness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been staying in many 5-Star hotel and resorts to this day <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>but I can assure that The Naka Island is not at all a 5-Star destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility being old is not a problem however their maintenance, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>their maintenance is not at all acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even when the facility is old, when the maintenance is done well, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it will be considered as the \u201clong history\u201d or the \u201ctaste\u201d of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As I\u2019ve mentioned in the Villa 68 and 65, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Naka Island all in all is only a deserted place and is not anything of Luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The guests who come to 5-Star destination comes for experience <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of away from their daily usual as well as comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If people just want to be surrounded by a beautiful sea and rich nature, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it doesn\u2019t have to be The Naka Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Phuket is an International resort town and has many wonderful hotels and Villas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Needless to say, there are many places with beautiful sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If we decided to come to The Naka Island, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>that is because we want to experience something that only The Naka Island could offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe my expectation was too high that I felt this way maybe, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>but I can\u2019t recall any 5-Star destination that made me feel this much of regret and disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me talk about a bit more in details why I think the place is not Luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lawn and Garden Maintenance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A 5-Star resorts has their trees and plants well taken care of <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and their lawns are beautifully taken care of.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Naka Island had so many areas that their lawns are withered or dead <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and sand bases are left with nothing being done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And lawns are not at all taken care of and are many weeds everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When we were going to common area from the Villa 65, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the trees and plants that border the Villa from the common area were mostly brown in their color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other guests came into our private space and were taking the photo of our Villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"828\" height=\"621\" src=\"https:\/\/thailand-real-review.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/naka-island\/18_05592490049571_3572100774599241710_n.webp\" alt=\"The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort &amp; Same location.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cleanliness and Maintenance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As the resort is facing to the sea, there are many shells, garbage, and woods washed ashore.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they are not being cleaned or taken away but stay there until the nature takes care of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All other beach resorts that we\u2019ve stayed in the past had people collecting debris <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and cleaning the beach from the dusk to dawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not a piece of broken shell was to be found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"early morning at beach - The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort &amp; beverages and massages however, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the fact that we\u2019ve spent 80,739 baht for the Villa was way too expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I personally believe that this place charges the price of 5-star Luxury and that\u2019s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I strongly felt that the price does not reflect the contents quality of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:49px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion and Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been writing here the things that I actually experienced there and how I\u2019ve felt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the Covid pandemic, the Thai domestic tourism industries have been hit hard <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and The Naka Island is no exception I realized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also run my own business and I am also not an exception of having a hard time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I was impressed with how hard the staffs are trying to fulfill <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>their responsibilities within their given authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Having said that, I believe that so long as the resort claims that they are 5-Star Luxury, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it is a must for them that they have to stay as they claim to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I don\u2019t think its right to make guests feel obliged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am looking forward to see their endeavor improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4474839534803766\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block;
