140 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is 2 hour drive from Bangkok. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pattaya where it has been, and still is, prospered as a beach resort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many bars and clubs make it famous as a \u201cnightlife town\u201d however, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that is just in some areas and once you are away from such area, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

you are in a very quiet seaside town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My dear hubby and I often visit Pattaya as it is the beach resort that is easily accessible by car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore today, I would like to talk about InterContinental Pattaya Resort<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

where we have been staying the most when us husband & wife visit Pattaya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovering the InterContinental Pattaya Resort: A Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

InterContinental Pattaya Resort is located on <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Phra Tamanak Hill 5 kilo south from the Pattaya Beach Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Royal Cliff Resort<\/a> where they had several international meetings in the past is next to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This area has quite calm atmosphere compared to other areas around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InterContinental Pattaya Resort is built on the sharp slope of the cliff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

resides family to a single stayer depending on the purpose of visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always stay at Executive where we can also make use of club lounge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we wanted to stay this time in Villa which we finally succeeded in our booking of.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Personal Experience at the InterContinental Pattaya Resort<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scenic Impressions: InterContinental Pattaya Resort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As I\u2019ve mentioned it earlier, the resort is built on the slope; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

there are big differences in elevation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do my morning walk in the early morning when it is still cool <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but my lack of day to day exercise, my leg muscles were hurting the next day.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also use cart for your traveling in the premise <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but there are situations that the cart cannot make to the front of your room, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

you have no other choice but to legs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two restaurants in service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One is called Infiniti where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Gulf of Thailand, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and the other one is called ELEMENTS where you can have your breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have very big and impressive swimming pool <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is designed almost like a tough maze in a jungle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are pool for little kids and deep pool and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

there are guests spend whole day here at the pool area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think it is very nice that we can flexibly choose our rooms <\/p>\n\n\n\n

depending on the purpose of your visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intercontinental Pattaya has 156 rooms in total <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and the room categories are following 3 categories in rough categorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price is most affordable in the Intercontinental Pattaya <\/p>\n\n\n\n

however, the rooms are quite big for you to relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And is close to the lobby and the breakfast hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXECUTIVE ROOMS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The size of the room is 77 sqm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessible to club lounge and are rooms with terrace or <\/p>\n\n\n\n

has direct access to the swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ocean front room is the most superior room in this class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can view the ocean but is not 180 degree view\u2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you come there with a big expectation, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

you could be bit disappointed with the view that the room offer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rooms in this category are 125 sqm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Bed Room Villa and 210 sqm. Two Bed Room Villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rooms are one room each and is standing in the ocean front <\/p>\n\n\n\n

with completely independently built villa type room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has private pool and big terrace with independent bedroom and living-room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And has access to club lounge as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted to stay in this villa this time and although it was only 2 nights but stayed there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-depth Review: Staying at the Baan Sai Chol 1-Bedroom Private Pool Villa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve stayed in Ocean Front room where we can use the club lounge anytime <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but we were not fully satisfied and we wanted to once stay in the Villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basically, the Villa has to be booked several months in advance including weekdays as well <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but we got lucky because we input the date that <\/p>\n\n\n\n

we wanted to go and the system accepted the date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A chance not to missed in a thousand years.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beach spreads out in front of the villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunbeds are placed on beach for the guests staying in villa <\/p>\n\n\n\n

with towels and water already set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
