Hello, everyone I am Chifumi Maeda, a Japanese female president living in Bangkok.
Thank you, guys, for visiting this
“True comments from Japanese female presidents living in Thailand” blog.
Let me today take you to Amatara Wellness Resort
where I’ve been visiting repeatedly for several times already.
Review on Spa revive, wellness stay course
It is located on the cape on the southern tip of Phuket Island looking over the magnificent Andaman Sea.
The wellness resort famous for being specialized in health is Chiva-som in Hua-hin.
But this place where I am going to talk about is NOT where you only come for Health! Beauty! or Detox!…
But for people like us, you and me,
the resort is selling itself as “Soft Wellness”.
As I am familiar with the resort as I’ve been here several times already,
my stay at the resort is 3-nights, or more, stay course called Spa Revive
which includes 3 spa cuisine meals a day at The Retreat restaurant
where guests with Wellness Program as well as guest just staying at Suite Room
to have a good time have the access to, as well as to sports activities and esthetics menu.

What includes in the Spa Revive
The meals are very nice and also nice to my eyes which makes me look forward to my next meal.
It seems that there are many people who come for this Thai Hammam journey.
I was so excited to experience it.
But I am not going to tell you what it is.
You will be pleasantly surprised to find out what it is.
It is something that you really should look forward to and don’t worry,
you will (probably) safely return from this journey.
I’ve attended the YOGA, Kickboxing, Aquabics every day and got so tired that I had to go to bed at 20:00 every night.
At the first consultation, you will be shockingly told (as much as possible) not to consume alcohol during the satay
and to have the meals serving in The Retreat.
Restaurant The Retreat menu do not carry any alcoholic menu.
Travelling in triangular route every day between the hotel room à The Retreat à Spa area…
I’ve managed to complete my healthy stay keeping myself
away from the restaurant where they serve alcohols.
The final day…
My hubby finished the payment and ready to head to the airport.
And he told me that I would never have found out that beer tastes that good.
Points why I recommend Amatara Wellness
The best season to visit Phuket Island
November – March is the dry season, April – May is the hot season,
and June – October is the rainy season.
The best season has very little rain and most days are sunny day,
and among this season, January – March are the months with the least rainfalls.
April – May is the hot season and is hot, very hot, and humidity is very high as well.
Towards the end of May, there will be more cloudy days going into rainy season.
During the rainy season due to the Monsoon effect, the waves in the sea can be rather high.
