I would today like to talk about Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas that

is located in Na Jomtien area, 20km south of Pattaya.

My husband and I frequently stay in Pattaya as it is an easy resort to get to from Bangkok.

However, we do not like the hustle and bustle of Pattaya city,

we often stay at Jomtien,

and we often stay at this resort that I previously introduced on my blog.

Exploring Na Jomtien’s Oasis: Key Features of Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas in Pattaya

Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas is located in the quiet seaside area of Na Jomtien,

20km south of Pattaya city.

It is about a 2-hour drive from Bangkok.

Thanks to the completion of the bypass,

we were able to arrive at Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas with almost no traffic jams.

The entrance is on the main road along Sukhumvit Road,

and once you enter, you will find yourself on the grounds of the resort,

which they own an area of 1 km all the way to the coast.

As we continued along the road,

we found a quiet resort as you would think that

many cars passing by you were just your imagination.

The area is lush with greenery and a refreshing breeze blows in from the sea.

Many birds, squirrels and other animals are a feast for the eyes.

From families to couples,

you can choose the room category according to your purpose of stay,

the resort I think, will satisfy visitors.

Experiencing Elegance: A Guide to the Luxury Rooms and Suites at Sea Sand Sun Resort

There are a total of 62 rooms, divided into 6 categories.

Which are hotel types and villa types.

The features of them individually are as following.

GARDEN BOUTIQUE

This is a hotel type room of 55 square meters.

It’s a room that as if it is in the garden.

GARDEN VILLA

This is a villa type room of 55 square meters.

This room is located in a dense jungle.

DELUXE PAVILION VILLA

This is a hotel type room of 120 square meters.

You can overlook the large garden from the terrace.

GARDEN SUITE WITH JACUZZI

This is a villa type room of 200 square meters.

This villa is tucked away in the jungle and has an outdoor jacuzzi.

POOL VILLA SUITE

This is a villa type room of 200 square meters.

This villa is secluded in the jungle and has a private pool.

OCEAN FRONT POOL VILLA SUITE

There is two types in this category,

2 one-bedroom units of 120 square meters

and another with 1 two-bedroom unit of 250 square meters.

As the name suggests, the beach is right in front of the rooms.

We stayed in this villa on this visit.

I was more satisfied than I’ve expected.

Savoring the Scenery: A Culinary Journey at Horizon Sea View Restaurant in Pattaya

There is only one restaurant in this large resort.

And, as it takes 30 minutes by car to get to the City of Pattaya,

all meals will inevitably be taken at HORIZON SEA VIEW RESTAURANT.

If the food during the stay do not suit one’s tastes,

we tend to be less satisfied with the stay however,

the food at HORIZON SEA VIEW RESTAURANT was really delicious,

which was another reason that I thought “I would definitely come back”.

Breakfast is buffet style and is served from 7:00am to 10:30am.

From Thai cuisine to Western cuisine, there is something to suit every guest’s taste.

Noodle dishes and egg dishes are prepared according to guest orders.

There were so many dishes that I wanted to try that I ended up eating too much.

Dinner can be ordered a la carte.

During our stay, the weather was bad towards the evening,

so we weren’t able to see the beautiful sunset,

but the sea breeze was nice and we was able to eat coolly.

During our stay, we’ve enjoyed both Thai food and Western food.

My hubby do not like spicy food,

so he usually do not really enjoy Thai food,

but at the HORIZON SEA VIEW RESTAURANT, the staff caters to his preferences.

Everything was exactly as my husband requested,

including the hardness and spiciness of the fried egg on the Gapao rice.

The seasoning was just right, and it was delicious.

Pattaya is a seaside city and it is famous for its seafood dishes but,

we’ve ended up eating a lot of seafood at Jomtien on the way here,

so we were in the mood for meat…

You might think that you would go out of your way to eat steak at the beach,

but guess what, it was surprisingly delicious.

I had it cooked medium-rare and it was juicy and delicious.

The taste was comparable to the famous restaurants in Bangkok.

Thai food is not very salty compared to those in elsewhere,

so some may find it unsatisfying.

I personally, prefer light seasoning, so I enjoyed everything.

As I was very satisfied with the meal,

and I think it was good enough to be in the top 3 of all the stays we’ve had.

It is also possible to have private dining set up on the beach,

so it would be perfect for special celebrations.

The resort also has a pool, gym,

and a recreation room where you can play snooker,

but on this stay, we spent our time in OCEAN FRONT POOL VILLA SUITE

as the room was so nice that we didn’t leave the villa except for meals.

Now, I would like to move on to the review of

our stay at OCEAN FRONT POOL VILLA SUITE.

Ocean Front Pool Villa Suite: An In-Depth Stay Experience Review at Sea Sand Sun Resort

When we stay somewhere in the mountain area,

we choose a room with a view of the beautiful mountains.

And when it’s in the ocean area, we try to book a room with a sea view or a beachfront room.

That’s why we booked OCEAN FRONT POOL VILLA SUITE this time.

The sea is just 3 seconds walk away!

The coastline stretches out in front of the eyes

and you can hear the sound of the ocean all the time.

Leave the villa and go swimming in the sea if you are in such a mood.

Or have a nice and relaxing time on the beach if that what you are in for.

Anyway, it’s a luxurious time waiting for you.

In the morning, I enjoyed nature to the fullest by walking on the beach and reading on the terrace.

The bathroom is built luxuriously open and spacious.

You can see the ocean from the bathroom,

and it was great to take a bath while listening to the sound of the waves rushing to the shore and back.

No matter where you are in the villa,

the vast ocean stretches out in front of you just like a painting.

The beach in front of us was not at all crowded like Pattaya or Jomtien, so it felt like a private beach.

It was a luxurious time to enjoy the ocean where no one else around.

About 2 hours drive from Bangkok, it’s a completely different world.

It was really nice to be able to go there,

as long as you have a car as your transportation to get there,

to have an amazing time.

I headed home, promising myself to visit there again.

You can get there in 2 hours from Bangkok.

The grounds are large and lush with greenery.

You can choose a room depending on your purpose of stay.

There aren’t many people on the beach, so you can relax.

As it is far from Pattaya city, you can spend a quiet time.

The food is delicious.

The cost of staying is cheaper compared to that of in Pattaya city.

The hotel is rated 4 stars, but the service is good and satisfaction is high.

Room is thorough cleaned and neat.

Considerations: Potential Drawbacks of Staying at Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas

As it is far from the City of Pattaya, it is not suitable for people who want to stay active.

There is only one restaurant.

A car is required as tourist spots are far away.

There is no evening turndown service.

When we made the reservation, there was no way to cancel the reservation as payment was full amount in advance.
