[Review] RINTARO – Exquisite Gelato, Icecreem shop @ Prakanong, Bangkok

Let’s talk about sweets today.

I am not very fond of sweets to be honest.

Afternoon Tea Set, the King of the sweets that comes with tons of sweets is not something for me at all.

And as I am not very good in enjoying sweets, I never thought of collecting information on them.

 

 But interesting enough, there was something in the category of sweets that I thought

This is where someone took me there to taste and it was so good that I’ve decided to write about it.

Gelato, Icecreem “RINTARO” uses no sugar.

The Gelateria is located at a Shopping Mall and condominium area called W District,

a 3 short minutes’ walk from BTS Prakanong.

I was told that they also have their branch in Paholyothin 8 as well.

 

On your left side front when entering the W District, you will see the Gelateria.

 

 

 

The shop normally has a long queue outside but as we went there at 14:00 on a weekday,

we were the only customers at the time (Lucky us!)

 

Only 2 customers at a time is allowed in the shop since the pandemic.

Choose 2 of your choice from the selection of gelatos.

 

There are so many kinds of them and difficult to choose from.

There are always 15 – 16 kinds of then.

 

 

It costs 120 baht.

 

 

You can choose from cup or waffle. Try the waffle if you ever decided to get one.

 

 

The waffle has 2 kinds of taste. Maple and cacao.

 

Its baked 1 by 1 on the spot on order.

 

 

The aroma of the maple syrup spreads inside and outside of gelateria.

Its natural sweetness is not at all persistent and even I, someone who is not so fond of sweets, can enjoy it.

 

I had a hard time choosing what taste for the gelato I want but finally decided to have “Pumpkin+Orange+Potato x Yuzu Milk”.

 

 

My friend who took me there had “Fresh Milk x Raspberry”

 

 

Taste of the fresh ingredients’ taste spreads in the mouth in refreshing taste.

This would definitely create a long queue every day without a doubt.

Recommendation points of RINTARO

No sugar added, just the natural sweet taste of the ingredients.

Waffle is baked on order.

I would recommend trying with the “Maple taste”

The gelateria has a super long queue so go there around 14:00 – 15:00 on weekdays if you can.
