Hello, everyone I am Chifumi Maeda,

a Japanese female president living in Bangkok.

Thank you, guys, for visiting this

“True comments from Japanese female presidents living in Thailand” blog

I’d like to talk to you about 2 Onsen located in Pattaya.

It seems that Thailand is now seeing unprecedented “Onsen Boom”.

Onsen that making private space its selling point to the one that has a huge bath.

(Click here to see the article on private Onsen in Bangkok metropolitan.)

And of course, there is also a natural Onsen here in Thailand.

(Click here to see article on natural Onsen in Krabi province.)

But here in Thailand, they call it a “Onsen”

where you can sit in a hot tub regardless of the hot water is from natural hot spring or not.

And recently, there arose an Onsen facility in Pattaya, the beach resort where we can easily access to.

And thus, I’d like to talk to you about 2 such facilities.

This is the one that taken people by storm to spread the Onsen boom here in Thailand.

They have 3 branches in Thailand and also a branch in Singapore.

In Thailand, one is located in A Square on Soi 26. The second one is on Sathorn Soi 10.

And the third one is in Banglamung district in Pattaya.

Take a step inside and you will see what you see in local Japanese onsen facility.

You will get a locker key at the reception and I proceed to ladies bath facility.

After passing through the noren-curtain, you will come to changing area.

Thailand do not have the culture to go into Onsen bath naked

therefore you will receive disposable bathing wear.

I, as a Japanese person, do not have the culture to take bath in a bathing wear,

I go in naked as all the people in Japan do.

My Thai friend that I was with at the time felt embarrassing

to show her naked body to other people, she wore a bathing wear.

The towels are to be used at free of charge.

We put our clothes in the locker and, onsen bath, here we come.

Inside of the bathing facility area,

there are place to wash your body, a bathtub, mist sauna, and dry sauna,

There are 7 types of baths: YUNOMORI SIGNATURE BATH, THAI CERAMIC BATH,

SILK BATH, SLEEPING JET BATH, SOFT BUBBLE BATH,

JACUZZI BATH and COLD BATH.

The temperature of the water is about 37℃ – 43℃

and it differs depending on the bath you choose to bath in.

The THAI CERAMIC BATH is placed outside and is possible to bath surrounded by tropical trees.

There is also massage facility.
