Overview of Paresa Resort Phuket

Phuket is an international tourist city.

You can reach the resort island on just 1 and half hour flight from Bangkok.

As Phuket being an international airport,

there are many direct flights flying in from outside of Thailand.

The island has been and still is a prosperous tourist destination

and thus several luxurious 5 Star resorts here and there.

I myself like Phuket very much and am visiting the island at least once a year.

And this year, we’ve stayed at Paresa Resort Phuket in Kamala area

where villas for long-stay as well as holiday-houses stands.

Paresa stands on top of a high cliff looking down into Andaman Sea.

A bit of a climb from Kamala Beach on a relatively high mountain stands Paresa.

The hotel is very proud of its beautiful sunset view from it.

Exploring Room Types at Paresa Resort

There are 6 categories room in total.

The size of the rooms starts from 140sqm. to 1,110sqm.

The resort also has villa with kitchen where can accommodate up to 8 adults.

All the villas have their own private swimming pool

and every single one of them offer a magnificent view of Andaman Sea.

We stayed in a Spa Pool Suit this time.

The Spa Pool Suit stands bit far away from the main area

where the Lobby is and you must once leave the hotel property and travel by cart.

Unpacking the Spa Pool Suite

Pros of Spa Pool Suite

I wanted to stay in the Spa Pool Suit this time and had to choose here.

The reason is that I was attracted to the bath that

lightly floats on the swimming pool like the clouds that are flowing in the sky.

The Spa Pool Suit has the area of 210sqm.

and the swimming pool and the terrace offers you can the beautiful 270 degree horizon view.

The room is also equipped with massage bed and steam room.

After you’ve loosen your tightened muscles in the steam room,

you can enjoy massage, all that in your own room.

Every place is under the open air except the bedroom.

You can see the ocean also from the shower-room.

It is hot during the mid-day hours of 13:00 – 15:00

but in the morning hours and the times when you can see the sunset,

the sun is not that cruel and with the breeze running through the area, it is quite cool.

I’ve worked on preparing my schedule plans for next year inspired by the ocean view.

I made myself a bit busy preparing my target for next year however;

I wouldn’t recommend you to bring in your work to here in Paresa.

I would strongly recommend you to just relax and let your mind wonder around.

I was very much surprised with the wonderful room furniture.

It shows that the owner is particular about them.

Pity enough, furniture uses nails in building them,

even with the beautiful ones here in Thailand.

Chairs and tables in Spa Pool Suit uses no nails at all

and I was so much impressed with that.

No nails used means that when you do a good maintenance work as it should get,

you can use them for a long long time.

Cons of Spa Pool Suite

Its open air environment except the bedroom, you get visited by many bugs.

You cannot walk to the lobby meaning that
you always have to call cart to come and pick you up.
(bit annoying)

There is no writing desk and if and when you want to write something,
it’s not very handy.

A Gourmet Journey: Dining at Paresa Resort

How are the foods there?

The conclusion, they were very good. Very very good. Every single one of them.

Both my hubby and I, we are not very good in enjoying spicy foods

but once you ask them not to make our food spicy,

they will make sure all of the foods that lands on our table are never spicy.

It often happens here in Thailand that even when you ask them not to make it spicy,

that sometimes doesn’t work but here in the resort, it was perfect.

The variation of the menu is not that much

but even if you order something off the menu, the menu,

they will prepare it for you.

The food volume they can also adjust.

My hubby and I, we like to enjoy a small portion of many kinds

but here at Paresa, every dish we had were quite an volume.

They were all lightly seasoned which I liked.

The breakfast experience: Sparkling wine and more

The breakfast at Paresa comes with sparkling wine.

Sparkling wine to start your day.

The breakfast is served from 7:00 however,

sparkling wine is there waiting for you even before you are ready for the day….

This hotel really knows how to keep you relaxed…

Or shall I say lazy… relax is may be too moderate way of putting it.

Warm foods are made to order.

You basically do not need to leave your chair.

You can have your foods without walking about in the dining room.

And we’ve managed to experience what only those early risers are able to experience.

A breakfast with ocean view in a cool morning breeze.

While we were there, what we did everyday was that after our breakfast,

we sat in our own steam-bath while filling the bathtub with hot water.

And by the time our mind is back to the real world, it is already noon….

That was how we lived in the resort on the island.

Serenity and Wellness: Spa Services at Paresa Resort

How about the Spa?

I am a very active girl when I am traveling away from home however;

I am a different person here at Paresa.

It is probably because I had sparkling wine already with my breakfast,

I was living a lazy lazy life here.

And when I am looking at the endless horizon below my eyes,

my brain just stopped thinking….

I really lived and enjoyed doing or thinking nothing and just be lazy.

We were not really swimming in swimming pools nor workout in the gym,

we were living relaxed times.

But of course, we did visit the spa.

There is massage area in the room but we discovered that

there are quite a lot of mosquitos there and decided to get our massage at the spa.

The view from spa is of course good one as well and had the air condition on

which made the place comfortable to be.

Weighing the Pros and Cons of Paresa Resort Phuket

Pros of Paresa Resort Phuket

You can relax and let the time slowly pass by.

Has private pool and the room is very big that
makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable.

Foods are very good.

Starting your day with sparkling wine make you feel that it’s a holiday.

You can appreciate the magnificent view form the room.

The villa as well as the hotel restaurant and all other places has a romantic atmosphere which is very nice place for couples in love.

Cons of Paresa Resort Phuket

As it is standing on high cliff and are many ups and downs in elevation which makes it quite difficult to walk,

Spa Pool Suite is located outside of the hotel premises in a different building
and away from the main area where the Lobby is.

Open areas has a lot of bugs visiting you.

You can see the ocean but there is no beach there and when you want to swim in the sea, you need to go to Kamala Beach.
(There is free shuttle service. 10 minutes by car)
