Hello, everyone I am Chifumi Maeda,
a Japanese female president living in Bangkok.
Thank you, guys, for visiting this
“True comments from Japanese female presidents living in Thailand” blog
I’d today like to talk about a Vietnamese restaurant EAT VIET
that we, my hubby and I, often dine on our weekends.
The restaurant is located where it is not very easy to find.
It is on Nanglinchee Rd., which is quite far from both BTS or MRT.
It is in the area where a university and government office district are.
In between Rama 3 Rd. and Sathorn Rd.
Eat Viet Review: A Taste of Vietnam in Thailand
Experiencing the Atmosphere of Eat Viet, Thailand’s Vietnamese Gem
Eat Viet is on Nanglinchee Rd. in the TTN Avenue area where shopping malls are standing.
It is a small restaurant where only has 30 seats.
Dining seats are both inside and outside of the restaurant.
Walls are painted in a calm deep green color,
and the ceiling is very high, giving it a spacious impression for its size.
And a casual atmosphere.
It is often at the weekend when I visit them,
and you can see that it is the weekend as there are all ages dining there
from children to elderly. many people are with their family.
Having said that, maybe there are more older adults than the younger generation.
Gastronomic Journey: Our Take on Eat Viet’s Food
I have had Vietnamese food at various restaurants in Bangkok,
but I feel that this restaurant is the most delicious
as the seasoning is simple and the price is reasonable.
Above all, my high point to their food is that they are not sweetened with sugar
and do not taste like chemical seasoning. They are naturally seasoned.
As Vietnamese food comes with a lot of vegetables,
if you are not having enough vegetables daily, you can recover that here.
All the dishes use a lot of herbs such as mint and basil,
and the lettuce is crisp and delicious.
My favorite is this “Pho”, which is served with rice noodles.
I often order the basic chicken Pho which has a simple taste.
I also like Thai rice noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยว:kuaytio),
but the problem is that the soup is too sweet for me.
Eat Viet’s Pho is lightly seasoned and has an easy to eat taste.
Add lettuce and basil to the noodles and lightly squeeze the lime.
Not too much, just the right amount for me.
As there are various other dishes that I like to have,
I’m grateful that the amount of noodles is small.
The menu is easy to see with illustrations,
you can order using the name on the menu name and the photo.
If you don’t know what you are looking at and the menu,
ask the store staff and they will give you recommendations based on your preferences.
There are some spicy dishes, but as I do not like spicy food,
if I let them know in advance that I do not like spicy food,
they will adjust the spiciness for me.
As the seasoning is simple,
I think it’s good for both adults and children to enjoy the dishes.
Delivery is available as well, so why not try their food once.
